Image Permissions

Our policy

• Permission first. An image of a recipe from another site appears on Prep and Chef only when we have the source's documented permission to use it. No permission, no image — the page runs without one.
• Credit and link, always. Every permitted image is credited to its source and linked to the original recipe page.
• No implied endorsement. A source granting image permission doesn't mean they endorse Prep and Chef or our analysis, and we won't suggest otherwise.

Granting permission

If you publish recipes and are happy for us to show an image alongside our analysis of your recipe, email hello@prepandchef.com with the recipe URL(s) and the image(s) covered. We keep that email as the record of permission, and the credit line is yours to specify.

Revoking permission

Permission is revocable at any time, no reason needed. Email hello@prepandchef.com from the same domain or account that granted it (or otherwise show you control the source), and we'll remove the image promptly.

Requesting removal

If you believe an image on this site is yours and shouldn't be here — whether or not you ever dealt with us — email hello@prepandchef.com with the page URL and the basis of your claim. We'll take the image down while we check our permission records, and it stays down unless we hold documented permission from the rights holder.

Everything else on the site

Images that aren't from recipe sources — our own graphics, screenshots of our app, and tool interfaces — are ours. Questions about any image on the site are welcome at the same address.
